Our journey to Navarre, FL began several years ago and, in many ways, paralleled my journey of creating a new business. 2017 began with us purchasing a condo on Navarre’s beautiful beach (remember when it was known as “Florida’s Best Kept Secret”) and ended with the formation of Organized Occasions in Texas.
I created Organized Occasions to help others make positive changes in their lives. I focused on three areas: Nutritional Coaching and Meal Planning; Organizing Spaces and Wardrobe Styling; and Event Planning.
Our time spent in Navarre convinced me that not only did I want to relax in Florida’s Most Relaxing Place, but I also wanted to do business in a community that supports local businesses. Drawing on our own travel experiences as well as seeing the growth in online grocery delivery, I began exploring options for a delivery service specifically for visitors.
Organized Occasions and Grocery Concierge is the expansion and relocation of the business with the dual focus of providing meal planning and grocery delivery services for visitors, as well as providing home organizing and event planning services to residents. In 2020 I joined the Boisset Ambassadors to provide wine tastings and wine club memberships to anyone interested in bringing the wine country to the beach.
My goal as a professional home organizer and event planner is to help you embrace and celebrate every occasion in life. Every day is an occasion to be celebrated and every occasion is best when organized.
As a grocery concierge service, I am committed to helping my customers not only shop for groceries and supplies but also provide guidance on quantities needed, introduce local merchants and products, suggest easy to prepare recipes, and to provide removal and donation of any unused items to a local food pantry as needed. My goal is for your vacation to start sooner and be the most relaxing when you use Grocery Concierge!

“There’s No Place Like Home” Gala
The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Awards and Installation Gala “There’s No Place Like Home” was held on Friday, January 31, 2020, at the Navarre Conference Center.
The evening was focused on recognizing outstanding businesses, organizations and individuals in the Navarre area through the Annual Awards, as well as welcoming the newly inducted 2020 Board of Directors.
Outside the entrance was lit with emerald green lights and yellow steps leading into the conference center. The decorations, quote signs and special lighting set the magical mood throughout the room. This formal event featured cocktails, beer and wine, a plated dinner with dessert and coffee bar, and musical entertainment. Some firsts at this year’s event include the Wine Pull, and Swag Bags filled with goodies from all the event sponsors.
Gretchen Carter, Organized Occasions donated her time, talents and expertise to the Chamber to create this event from start to finish.
